Frequently asked
Short answers.
Why are my festival schedule or ratings not appearing on all devices?
Make sure your iPhone, iPad and Mac use the same Apple Account and that iCloud is available. Then reopen FearScore on both devices. Local changes remain available and are merged when iCloud becomes reachable again.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open “Support FearScore” in the app and select “Restore purchases”. Make sure you use the same Apple Account that was used for the original purchase.
Why can I not see a festival year or city?
Check the selected year and festival city at the top of the app. Earlier editions may be part of the complete archive. If a previously purchased archive is missing, try “Restore purchases” first.
Why are community ratings or FearLog not updating?
These features require an internet connection. Check your connection, reopen the screen and try again after a short while. Your personal festival schedule remains available on the device.
How does my festival schedule reach Apple Watch?
Add screenings to “My Festival” on the paired iPhone. Then reopen FearScore on both iPhone and Apple Watch so the latest schedule can be transferred.
How is my data stored?
Your festival schedule, watchlist and personal ratings are stored locally and in the private iCloud area of your Apple Account. Community actions use a random identifier. FearScore does not use advertising tracking. See the privacy policy for details.
FearScore is an independent, unofficial service and has no commercial affiliation with the organiser of the Fantasy Filmfest.
